Chinese, Indian, Italian, Scottish, French, Napolese, Greek. Whatever you fancy Edinburgh has it.

Edinburgh has numerous resturants and cafes to cater for all price ranges.

If you are looking for a light bite or quick snack then the place to head is the Elephant Cafe, just off the Royal Mile and is where J K Rowling spent some time when writing the Harry Potter novels. The atmoshpere is relaxed and there is plenty to choose from at good prices and student discounts. The cafe is decorated with a range of different model elephants in all shapes and sizes, including elephant shaped shortbread. The cafe also offers internet access.

If you are looking for more of a meal then why not try Cioa Roma on the Royal Mile. This resurant offers a wide range of Italian cuisine at a good price. There is also a specials menu to choose from making it difficult to decide exactly what to eat. The decor of the place is Italian themed with music playing softly in the background and big glass windows on two sides of the resturant allowing you to watch the world go by whilst enjoying your meal. The resturant is open for lunch and dinners and is suitable for children.

This are just a few ideas of places to eat and of couse Edinburgh is full of wonderful and different places to eat, although whilst wondering around you will find many more.
