Finally the time came, our baby was due on June 19th which was fathers
day, however we were lucky to have him a week early, he came on June
13th, 2005.
He was 7lbs. 7oz. when he was born, 20inches long, and had a full head
of dark hair. However, the hair didn't last, it was no time at all
before he lost all his hair. It did finally start growing back though,
it is now blonde.
Jereme really wanted our first born to be a son, and he got his wish!
I knew before he was born that he was strong, he had bruised the inside
of my stomach from kicking so hard. At 9days old I put him on a
blanket on his tummy in the living room, I left the room for a little
while and when I came back he had kicked himself off of his blanket,
off the rug, and was just hitting his head down on the hardwood floor
when I walked in. I felt like a horrible mother, I didn't think he was
that strong yet.
He learned things very quickly, he has been able to lift his head up and look around since the day he was born,
this is him at 1 1/2 months lifting his head
WAY
up.
at around 3 or 4 months he started to enjoy holding our hands and
standing up, he needed us for balance but that's all. He also enjoyed
his walker at that age.
Not that you can tell by this picture.
He has always been a happy baby!
