feed://cinch.blogtalkradio.com/3107131675 I remember the day when I first walked into AP Physics for my test. Now this was the first test of the year and I felt that I was ready and that I had studied, and I thought that I could really do this. I'm confident. Of course this was algebra-based physics and not calculus-based, but I walked into the classroom and I sat down. I had my paper in my hand and I had a pencil. I just looked and as soon as I saw my paper, I totally went blank. I could not remember what I had studied and what formulas or various equations I would use to solve the problem. I remember just sitting there and thinking. I got to solve some questions, but many of them were a bit difficult for me; I bombed that first test. I got a D, I think. Now it was at that point that I realized that this was actually going to be quite the hard class, and that I would actually have to put a lot of work into it and study and make sure that I remember everything. To me that was a big wake-up because no class had really been as difficult as that one. I would really have to work hard on this one. |
