I am currently a
middle school teacher in Montclair, NJ. I have spent over 19 years as an
educator in K-12 schools. I started my teaching career as a
Kindergarten, first and second grade teacher. I have been an elementary
school technology coordinator and a middle school technology
coordinator. I conduct district
workshops on technology and education. I believe that technology has the
power to transform education and build deeper understanding for
students and teachers. I have presented throughout
the state of New Jersey as well as at NECC 2009 (National Educational
Computing Conference-ISTE), EduCon, TSETC and Tech Forum Northeast. I
have been published in ISTE’s Learning & Leading Magazine and
appeared on NJN’s Classroom Close Up Television series on a creating
21st century classroom. Some topics I have presented on: Digital Storytelling,
