Google Groups

The GCT Group is a community of Google Certified Teachers who have applied to, been selected for, and completed the Google Teacher Academy. This is a CLOSED community.

The Google Workshop for Educators Network (or GWEN) is a community for any educator who has attended a Google Workshop for Educators (GWE) produced by Google's education partner, Computer Using Educators (CUE). This is a CLOSED community.

The Google Teacher Newsletter is open to anyone interested in receiving updates about Google's education initiatives.

The Google Teacher Academy is coordinated by CUECUE

Pam Friedman

Pam Friedman is an Instructional Technology Specialist for the Westfield School District in New Jersey, as well as a computer technology teacher.
 
Pam has been a Google Certified Teacher since February 2007 as part of the New York City cohort. Since then, she has presented numerous workshops to other professionals in her school district on the many different Google Tools for Educators.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Right now, Pam is working on Digital Stories and Video Production with her 8th grade students. A sample of one of the stories can be seen below.
 
Pam will be presenting at Montclair State University's Web 2.0 Conference in January.

Last year, Pam created a Black History Video for her school which was shown at the end of their assembly. They were honored to have the world renowned Newark Boys Chorus perform and heard a speech given by Rabbi Israel Dresner, a personal friend of Martin Luther King, Jr.
