Google Teacher Academy Video 2006 - Inspired by Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Currently working as:
Acalanes Union High School District Curriculum and Instruction Technology Specialist and Miramonte High School Instructional Technology Coordinator.  Recently participated in developing and providing training on Google Tools for teachers and students and creating curricular materials for the Apple Learning Interchange.  I have also created learning materials for the C-SPAN classroom web site.

Initiatives in integrated curriculum and instruction

• Involved in K-12 Internet Archive Pilot with Internet Archive, the Library of Congress and California Digital Library
  
• Developed and implemented an internal Broadcast channel and daily television bulletin for students and staff at Miramonte
• Created and facilitated online professional development classes in technology integration for district teachers.
  
• Created implemented and taught a district wide digital arts curriculum meeting University of California elective criteria (Digital Photography, Advanced Digital Photography, Video Production I and II, Web Design, Communications and Publications, Advanced Communications Media)
• Wrote and implemented lessons for SCORE (Schools of California’s Online Resources for Educators) and Presented lessons for CTAP (California Technology Assistance Project)
• Site Coordinator for a Federal Education Challenge grant, The Virtual High School, offering on-line electives to schools nation-wide
• On-line facilitator for teachers developing on-line high school courses
• Team developed and instructed “Technology for the Changing Classroom” for San Francisco State Multimedia Studies Center
• Piloted Visionary Stampede, a cross-communities student produced multimedia project funded by corporate and local sources and sold as an educational resource
