The GCT Group is a community of Google Certified Teachers who have applied to, been selected for, and completed the Google Teacher Academy. This is a CLOSED community.

The Google Learning Network (or GLN) is a community for any educator who has attended a Google Learning Institute (GLI) produced by Google's education partner, Computer Using Educators (CUE). This is a CLOSED community.

The Google Teacher Newsletter is open to anyone interested in receiving updates about Google's education initiatives. This is an OPEN community.

Andrew Gardner Bio

Before becoming an educational technologist with 3-5th grades at The School at Columbia University, Andrew Gardner taught pre -k to 3rd grade for 7 years.  Recently named both an Apple Distinguished Educator and a Google Certified teacher, Andrew enjoys working with children in multimedia work and media literacy skills.  He consults to schools, presents at conferences and has written articles about using new media tools with young children.  In his free time, Andrew plays bass with Johanna and the Dusty Floor, works on sustainability initiatives and maintains his professional blog at:
