The GCT Group is a community of Google Certified Teachers who have applied to, been selected for, and completed the Google Teacher Academy. This is a CLOSED community.

The Google Learning Network (or GLN) is a community for any educator who has attended a Google Learning Institute (GLI) produced by Google's education partner, Computer Using Educators (CUE). This is a CLOSED community.

The Google Teacher Newsletter is open to anyone interested in receiving updates about Google's education initiatives. This is an OPEN community.

Review of GCT Requirements


Critical Dates:

  1. Complete the Evaluation by November 21, 2008. (That's Friday!)
  2. Complete the Action Plan by December 18, 2008. (That's before Christmas break!)
  3. Update the Action Plan by February 18, 2009. (That's right around 2nd semester.)
  4. Post your final update to the Action Plan by May 15, 2009. (That's after testing season.)
  5. Contribute to the GCT Group.
