Services are best provided when tailored to meet your child's needs. Please call for details, as programs/costs can be arranged and modified to best benefit your child and your individual needs. Listed below are general programs that are available:

Social Skills Sessions/Groups

 

 

 

Intensive Skills, 1:1 Therapy Sessions for children with autism or other developmental disabilities. Services are based on strategies of Applied Behavioral Analysis and Verbal Behavior to increase behavioral, academic, and language skills (ages 2+)

 

 
 
1:1 Individualized Sessions for children of all abilities and disabilities (all ages)
 
Dyslexia Program is based on Orton Gillingham teaching methodology. (see brochure for more information.)

 

Small group academic tutoring (grades pre-k thru 9th) Higher level tutoring may be available--call/email to see if instructors are available.

 

Social Skills sessions/groups designed for acquisition of appropriate social skills (available for preschool through adolescents)

 

Utilizes methods from Discrete Trial  Instruction and the principles of motivation for skill acquisition. Natural Environment Training (NET) is emphasized to teach the generalization of skills. Frequency and length of services are determined based on individual student need following an evaluation using the ABLLS-R (Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills- Revised) or VB-MAPP (Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program) when appropriate. Sessions are high-intensity, based on thorough data collection and continuous analysis of effectiveness and progress.  (Great for children as young as 2 years old!)

 

 
Dyslexia programming is based upon a systematic, hands-on, phonetic approach that builds foundational reading skills and beyond.  Lessons are designed to teach reading to mastery. Sessions are 60 minutes each. (We accept all grade levels; however, if we do not believe that we are qualified to meet the needs of your child, we will refer you to another service.)

Individualized goals for making student progress. Great for homework help, remediation, maintaining content skills. Sessions are 1 hour each. (We accept all grade levels; however, if we do not believe that we are qualified to meet the needs of your child, we will refer you to another service.)

 

Social skills sessions/groups are designed for children ages 3-adolescent; Content includes concepts from initiating and having a conversation to responding to persuasion or failure. Portions of this programming will be 1:1. Groups are based on availability.
