What is NET?
Natural Environment Training (NET) uses a child’ interests to initiate teaching and instruction. Newly learned skills are generalized into the child’s natural environment through play, crafts, books, games, and more. Manding is taught through the natural environment as well. Manding is another word for requesting. A child needs to be able to request hundreds of items/activities in order to be functional in his/her enviornment.
