I think that in view of the present distress it is good for a person to remain as he is. Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be free. Are you free from a wife? Do not seek a wife. (1 Corinthians 7:26-27, ESV) No matter what stage you are at in life, it is a great opportunity for you to grow in your walk with Christ and to prepare for what he has for you. The most important preparation you can do is the same at any life phase, draw near to Jesus, the living God. If you are not walking with Christ, you are neither ready to be married, nor living the life that you were created for as a single.
