Gavrila Grigoryev
The Grigoryevs are Russian citizens who were vacationing in Italy when their 11-month-old son, Gavrila, suddenly went into coma and was hospitalized. Upon hospitalization, he was diagnosed with brain cancer. Italian doctors successfully operated on Gavrila; however, they were unable to completely remove the tumor.
The young boy needs to begin chemo and radiation therapy as soon as is humanly possible. The Italian specialists have recommended the Boston Children's Hospital as the World center specializing in the treatment of the particular tumor that the child has (Ependymoma).
We have contacted the Children's hospital and have begun the process of case evaluation and transfer. Please understand that the boy and his family live in St. Petersburg, Russia, and thus have no US health insurance. The treatment will need to be privately funded. We have created a fundraising charitable account at the Citizens bank, the Grigoryev’s Family Fund. We are asking for your donations.
No amount is too small!
Any help will be greatly appreciated! Also, please note that all the donations will be held in strict confidence, unless you specifically request that we publish your donation.
