The Griffith Chapter is one of the largest in Indiana with over 500 members. We invite you to learn about our work and to join us in supporting important conservation initiatives in your community. Our chapter consists of over 50 acres with three fishing lakes, an archery range, a rifle range, a picnic area, a primitive campsite, and a trap shoot area.
Our membership meets every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, where the Board of Directors discuss pertinent issues concerning the club and conservation issues of Northwest Indiana and the nation. To become a member, please call the Membership Director at (219) 924-0650.
Izaak Walton Mission Statement
To conserve, maintain, protect, and restore the soil, forest, water, and other natural resources of the United States and other lands; to promote means and opportunities for the education of the public with respect to such resources and their enjoyment and wholesome utilization. Griffith Chapter - Committment to our Youth
Throughout this web site you'll discover that much of what makes us a successful Chapter is our passion for sharing the love of conservation and the outdoors to our youth. Below are a 2 slideshows from our "OPEN TO THE PUBLIC" youth events. Click the link "Photo Album" to see more of our Chapter, it's members and our events.
