This is my last update on Mustang Week 2007.  We're all home, safe and sound, and I'm lying in my own bed for once.  The trip home took a while, all because of FIFO's (Fucking idiots From Ohio) that have NO CLUE how to merge.  I swear if there weren't a million of them on the road...there weren't any.  The trip was a BLAST, made some good friends and some good memories for sure.  But I can honestly say home sweet home.  There's just something about this place that defies all logic...I love Boone County.

And with that, I'm only going to update this one more time in the next few days with a link to all of the pictures that everyone else took...and a link to the video/slideshow I plan on making.

The strip takeover was awesome!! It was so cool to see so many Mustangs, be it a GT, Roush, Saleen, Cobra, or GT500 in one place in one line!!  My camera officially has no balls when it comes to night time pictures...but they're uploaded none the less.  Enjoy.

Just got back from Darlington, and of course the pictures are uploading.  There were a lot of nice cars there, and I honestly can't remember all the times that everyone run, but I do know that the Darlington MVP Robbie ran an AWESOME 11.94 @ 118mph...with a 1.7 short time.  Talk about absolutely humping!!!  Congrats to you buddy, you deserve it.

And also, the pictures once again went over the 500 picture limit for a single album, so now there is a THIRD link up top, and here it is again down here.

Just got back from the Fun Runs at the Myrtle Beach Speedway, and let me tell you it was awesome!!  Massey flogged the dog shit out of his car on the AutoX course, the fun runs around the circle track, and the stoplight drags.  Craig and Robbie both raced the stoplight drags, and Robbie kicked some ass!  There were some people there with a built Neon talking shit to me and Mike about how fast it was...long story short, we shut them up and Robbie got beside him...and at the second gear shift had him by about two or three cars...check out the pictures.  Unfortunately the track was no where close to clean or prepped, so an AWD Evo won the stoplight drags.  The 'Stage 6 800 horsepower' GT500 just about bit the wall on the back straight during the fun runs, he said he was rolling about 80 coming out of turn two and stabbed the throttle when the boost gauge spiked and the car went completely sideways...took him the entire straight-stretch to get it under control.

Now the bad news...during the stoplight drags Mike and the owner of SVTPerformance.com, Travis, pulled out to make one run just for fun.  On the entrance to turn three..they slowed down and asked each other if they wanted high or low on the lanes.  When they pulled up to the start line the track owner flipped out on them, told them they were fucking up HIS show, and to leave the track and NEVER come back.  Banned for life.  TOTALLY uncalled for.  What's worse is I hear that he hit, shoved, or did something to Travis's Lightning.  Completely ridiculous if you ask me.  And when he was questioned by Travis and Mike, he got pissed off again and got a huge attitude.  Thank you Rich for getting this on film.  My suggestions is to NOT support this man at all.  The event was awesome, and I'd come do it again if I had the chance, but the way he handled the situation is completely stupid.  NO warnings or anything, just a ban.

The pictures are still uploading, but there are some already done.  Over 150 uploading, so it may take a while.  Some are great, some are good, some are of girls, but I uploaded EVERY picture I took.  So enjoy!!!

We're in line at the track as I type...thank you Microtel for having free wireless that I can steal.  There is a HUGE line with some kick ass 'Stangs around, so I'm going to go get some pictures and post them up ASAP.

And yes...the two black marks coming out of the gravel parking lot that we drove through are from Robbie's KBed GT...Hoosier daddy?

We're all getting ready to head out to the track day event now...weather has been rainy..and it's overcast now...but the bulk of the rain seems to have held off.  We'll see soon enough.

Also, the origional album won't hold over five-hundred pictures, so I had to upload the Meet-N-Greet pictures to another album...link is above.

 Tuesday, 24 July 2007 -2302Hrs

Today was awesome, I loved the cruise in and Meet - N - Greet.  There were so many outrageously awesome cars it wasn't even funny.  Anything from an all original 1966 GT350...factory supercharged to a fully built 2007 GT500 with a 2.8L Kenne Bell.  An AWESOME original 1968 GT500KR to a tricked out 2004 GT with Lambo doors.  If you liked it it was there.  We showed up at 1400Hrs and got GREAT parking spots...hell...we were the first ones there.  Ate inside the Planet Hollywood and then headed out to the parking lot.

When everyone left it was kinda a tradition to get on it and put on a show.  There were about a dozen that left before us...but nothing beat the exit that Rich had in his Terminator.  It pulled out in first, went to second, and then he stood on it.  Hazed the tires all the way through second sideways, then he slammed third.  Robbie had a nice exit as well...sideways with a second gear stomp.  Me and Massey had it sideways from the beginning, slammed second and sent it sideways the OTHER way, then slammed third and stood on the brakes.  Craig's car had the check engine light come on...so he let out of it and pulled over at a gas station.  Ended up loading the tune again it all was good.  Came back to the house, Whitney cooked some spaghetti and now we're all setting beside the pool drinkin.

Enjoy the pictures and I'll shut the hell up now.

Last night was a blast.  After eating Thorny's, which wasn't as good as it has been, we came back to the house.  Rich stayed up all night long on the first balcony because of a suspicious person or two around our vehicles.  They were by here three times, and when Rich talked with the local PD he said that he had responded to three different burglary calls.  Rich blocked the Terminator in with Berry's Mach and then Massey's GT in front of that.  Robbie put his in VERY close to a couple of the pillars, and cut the wheel hard so no one could roll it out.  But...nothing came up missing, thank you Rich for lookin out.  :)

Well, while everyone else was back at the house, Berry, Tanya, Carrie, and myself decided to go out and hit the bar on the back side of the pier.  After one five dollar and fifty cent Long Island, we were outta there and heading back to the Causeway Bar and Grill for karaoke.  Only one of us that can REMOTELY sing would be Tanya, so she rocked some Joan Jett, more specifically 'I Love Rock And Roll.'  Let me tell you, EVERYONE was out on that dance floor dancing, and naturally everyone was singing the chorus.  After she kicked ass, we decided to go over and play some pool...and I didn't realize exactly how bad the six or seven Long Islands had kicked MY ass until I tried to play pool.  That was interesting.  It got to the point where I was buying TWO Long Islands, chugging one at the bar, and then carrying the other one back over to where the pool tables were.  Some way some how me and Berry got challenged into a partners game with these two other guys.  And once again some way some how we actually won.  I can remember knocking about two or three balls in, but that's about it.  I didn't know we won until this morning....lol  But we came back to the house and crashed...I fell asleep on the top balcony in a lawn chair...Tanya helped me to my room.  haha  But at about 0930 this morning I was up, feeling good, and ready to roll.

Went downstairs and Quick Detailed Berry's Mach and Craig's GT just because...I can't stand not having something to drive down here, it sucks.  But oh well, there's next year.  Rich had a problem with the X-Cal tuner..it wouldn't turn on.  Ended up being a small fuse that was blown, got that fixed and he's got the tune done he wanted and he's out testing it right now.  Craig had to upload a new tune to his, he said it wasn't feeling right on the bottle.  He just got back from testing it, and he said it feels better N/A, but it still doesn't feel right on the bottle.  We're guessing it just has a lot of air in the bottle...we're hoping that someone down here will be filling bottles cause he's got two bottles filled from the same place.  Everyone's getting ready right now to head out to the Meet and Greet at Planet Hollywood, expect a SHIT LOAD of more pictures from there.  It starts at four, but we're getting there SUPER early so we can have all the cars parked together and have a good parking spot.  I'll be back later with a sun burn, another update, and more pictures.

Monday, 23 July 2007 -1412Hrs

Alright...I'm killed.  lol  Myself, Elswick, Rich, Elizabeth, Craig, Massey, Robbie, and Mike just got back from the jet skis....and I am physically exhausted.  I NEVER knew that just riding around on jet skis would be demanding.  I'm wide open, at about 35 to 38 mph, and I absolutely NAILED a wave...that hurt.  After the I'd say GOOD four or five second air time, the bike nailed back down with a huge crash and a huge splash.  After that I didn't go as fast unless I was on the back straightaway...and then I was hammered down.  On the back we were going with the waves, so it was pretty smooth, and I could hit about 45mph...fast enough for me.  haha  But when that green flag came up and it was time to come back in, I was sore.  I couldn't have physically done it for an hour...I'd be passed out on the beach.  I don't think I've every been this wore out and exhausted in a long time...it was almost like work!  But I loved it, and if I've got the chance to do it again I would.  Maybe next time we go for the Inlet jet skis...a lot calmer water.

Right now Rich and Massey are cookin hot dogs and hamburgers out on the grill.  So I'm hoppin off to go eat.  Didn't take the camera, so no pictures from this outing...but I'm gonna get some tonight.  We're either gonna go out to eat at Thorny's or Dick's, dunno yet.  I'll post up an update when we get back.

Monday, 23 July 2007 -1241Hrs

Today we ate at Myabi's Japanese Steakhouse, it was GREAT!!  The  Fillet Mignon melted in your mouth..the chicken was great, and the shrimp was great!  Rich said it was on the top five meals of the entire world...and that mother fucker has been to Japan!!!  After that we cruised the strip, and Massey and them went to the pier...myself, Kristen, and Cody went to Eagles so Kristen could get shorts.  lol  Now we're all settin around the pool, about to get in.  :)  Getting offline now...getting in the pool...Check the web album for pictures!!!

 Sunday, 22 July 2007 -1445Hrs

Last night was a blast...COLLLLLD  BBBBBEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRR as ProMod put it I do believe.  Fun in the pool, and at both ends of the Pier is a bar with LIVE bands everynight.  Gottta love it!  We're all gettin ready to go eat at Myabi's Japanese Steakhouse right now, I'm settin out by the pool uploading pictures and posting on WVStreets..and who ever isn't getting ready is cleaning their cars.  Rich, Elizabeth, and Mike just backed back in from a drive in the 'Vert, and I gotta say I LOVE how that Kenne Bell sounds!!!

Hate to make this a short entry...but it's my turn for the shower.  Check back for pictures/update from this evening.

We're here...I love it!  We've already made the alcohol run...see my web album for pictures of the refrigerator.  ;)   I can't wait to see what this week brings us.

Today's trip down was pretty uneventful...thank god.  lol  Mike's (MoneyGreen) car blew a vacuum line off and wouldn't make boost about a hour out of Myrtle...but that's it.  Rich's car made it without a hitch...which is better than last year.  I'm going to be uploading pictures all the time I get...just as proof I've got some uploading right now.  The actual festivities don't start until Tuesday...so tomorrow is gonna be a fun filled day just to hang out with everyone.  Right now we're all just settin' around the house, drinkin'.  I think I'm going to sneak off and get the flying WV painted on a sheet and hang it from the front porch....go 'Eers!!!

Also, just as an FYI, the link at the top of the page is to my Google Picasa Web Album where I'm uploading all my pics.  So check it every time there's an update here and you'll see us in our current state of mind.  :)

Saturday, 21 July 2007 -0230Hrs

Alright...it is upon us.  Mustang Week 2007.  This long awaited vacation of mine couldn't come at a better time...but we won't get into my sob-story of a life right now.  Let's just say that getting out of Boone County, and out of West Virginia for that matter, is going to be good for me.  Not everything is bad...but even the best day in the world can't turn two years around.  ANY FUCKING WAY...haha

It's 0230 in the morning and I'm finished packing, everything setting here in my room, and I'm excited as hell to be leaving soon...and I can't sleep at all.  We're meeting at Massey and Berry's apartment at 0600...leaving no later than 0620...and meeting everyone else at the Hardee's in Marmet at 0645.  I can't wait...it's going to be one of the most fun times I've had in a LONG time.  Two years at the jail without a vacation, and with what's going on in my personal life....HERE I COME MYRTLE FUCKIN' BEACH!!!!!
