Firstly this is not a business, this site is purely for charity, the money taken for material costs goes straight back into buying more shiny bits. All the profits go to charity, see Charity Challenges.  I started to make bits of jewellery after failing miserably at making cards as a fund-raising effort. To my surprise, my friends and colleagues actually liked what I'd made.  So over the last few years not only have I developed my jewellery skills, I also have a definite bead habit - mmh, shiny!
