The goal of the BPW is to promote full participation, equity, and economic self-sufficiency for working women.  Our vision is to achieve workplace equity for American women through advocacy, education, and information. 

The club was founded November 1, 1930. 



Meetings

Once a month, the club meets to update members on current and future activities, participate in programs, and have a dinner together to network.


Second Wednesday  of the month ( Sept-June)

  • Greensburg Local Member Becomes State President  Having served as Greensburg BPW's President, District 3 Assistant Director and Director, Cathy Caccia, self-employed CPA, was elected to lead the Pennsylvania state Federation of Business & Professional Women's Club, Inc.  Cathy will be installed at the 2012 State Convention to be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, Southpoint, Canonsburg, PA.  Congratulations Cathy - We're proud of you!

  • Friendstich Project 2011-2012 Project Friendstitch is almost complete. The afghans are being assembled and will be donated in the spring to a homeless shelter.  For the last several years, Greensburgh BPW has assembled afghans of many colors and sizes from 12" squares made throughout the year. These blankets offer warmth and comfort to struggling women and children.
