The Design Team meets the last Monday of the month at 6:30 pm at the Borough Building.  The Design Team is responsible for setting guidelines and approving facade applications under the Elm Street program.  It is hopeful we will receive $50,000 this year to offer 10 $5000.00 grants to businesses and homeowners.  This money requires a dollar for dollar match.  $5000.00 is the most that an applicant can receive.  The match is lower if your income qualifies under federal guidelines.

 Design Guidelines have been revised and submitted to the state for approval.  This year the Pennsylvania Historical Museum Commission is playing a role in what grants are approved because of the historical value of property in Greensboro.  If you are interested in more information about this program please contact Darlene Urban Garrett, our Elm Street Manager at 724-943-3612 or at greensboropa@atlanticbbn.net.  She will provide your information to the Design Team for review.  

This is a great opportunity for our citizens to get help with making needed improvements to the outside of building structures.  Applications are accepted on a first come first serve basis.  A full application must be submitted before your application can be reviewed.
