When Required All Weekend Details valid from Sat 27th Feb Areas of Interest Environment Type of Activity General and Helping, Local Events, Practical Work and DIY Recruitment Method Informal Discussion Description Newcastle Community Green Festival is an annual community based environmental festival that aims to use creative artistic and musical activities to raise awareness about environmental issues and demonstrate positive environmental solutions to these problems.
A Rigging / Site crew required to assist with the following;
- Setting up / stripping-down / cleaning-up the Green festival site (small tent erection, laying cables / water pipes, setting out tables chairs, litter picking, site strip down etc). - Working as a team, you will help set out the site, keep it running, and the help ensure re return the park to the condition we found it in
The festival has an excellent reputation with the council due in part to the way we treat the festivals surrounding environment - be part of the team that maintains that relationship!
Volunteering in various shifts of 4 hours, commencing 11.00 am Thursday 5th June – to 7pm Monday 9th June. Skills and Qualifications - Previous festival site experience is an advantage, but no task is especially taxing, and teamwork makes any job much easier! - No under 18's due to child protection / safety issues
