Description

The Festival is organised by a dedicated team of event planners who take responsibility for arranging a particular activity at the Festival.  Each area has to be self-financing, incorporate environmental educational activities or information, comply with the highest environmental standards and be self sufficient in litter pickers or other volunteers.

  

Activities needing volunteer event planners include:

 

- Catering

- Energy efficiency and green energy exhibition area

- Circus Activities

- Manually operated fairground rides and older children's activities area

- Fire Show

 

If you have any other proposals that you would like to put to the Festival organisers then

contact us and we'll be happy to consider your ideas.

 

The festival planning committee meets roughly every 2 to 3 weeks at present, building up to weekly meetings in the run up to the festival. Volunteer planners are expected to attend the festival and support their volunteers  on June 7th/8th.

Skills and Qualifications

No previous experience required - just eagerness to get involved!

No-under 18's due to child protection / safety issues
