 This page is dedicated to the promotion of my new Eco-Friendly gardening business. The mission of my business is to restore existing gardens in the most sustainable way possible. During the pre-visit, we will go over your goals & expectations, thus creating a working model for the finished product. I will photo document before and after results. I use no! pesticides or damaging chemicals (Roundup). I arrive to your house or business via bike with workable trailer. Some of my clients have tools in which i use, but if you don't, i have my own. Weeds and branches will either be taken away by me, or tied up for the city to remove (prefer to compost unwanted material "in nature there is no waste") Let me help restore the beauty that once existed in your garden.
| About Me Contact me:I have been working and living in Ithaca, NY for the past two years. Spent most of my time working for the Cayuga Nature Center during the past two years. Part of my position at the Cayuga Nature Center was grounds caretaker, where i helped install new gardens, while maintaining existing ones. I have a background in gardening through my many years as a landscape foreman. In 2005, i was farm manager for the Frost Valley YMCA,located in the Catskills of NY. Here I operated a residential summer camp, where the kids learned about gardening,sustainability and animal husbandry. Moving to Ithaca in 2006, i graduated with a Permanculture design certificate, through the Finger Lakes Permaculture Institute. I also hold a Bachelors degree from Paul Smiths College, in Recreation, Adventure Travel and Eco-tourism. When not working, im usually gardening at my own home, maintaining a vegetable garden, helping out with activities around Ithaca and loving the gorges of Ithaca.  Mark D.
