The role of Metroplan, the central Arkansas Council of Governments and Metropolitan Planning Organization, is to help our communities deal with common environmental issues that transcend local political boundaries. By developing, and supporting plans and projects that protect and enhance our natural environment and contribute to long-term economic vitality, Metroplan helps facilitate the quality growth of our local communities.
