| Where we meet We meet on the second Wednesday every month at Friends' Meeting House, Mount Street, Manchester, M2 5NS (behind the Central Library). We ask for a donation of £3 at these meetings to cover the cost of room hire and refreshments (£1 for students) except at the first meeting attended. The room (Room 2) is available for socialising from 7pm and the formal part of the meeting starts at 7.30pm. Meetings end around 9.15pm but many of us continue afterwards at The Waterhouse opposite the Town Hall in Princess St. The programme for the 2009/10 session is here. We also meet at 6.45pm for 7pm on the fourth Tuesday of the month (except in December). These 'Exploring Humanism' meetings are currently held in the upstairs function rom at The Waldorf in Gore Street, Manchester, M1 3AQ (near Piccadilly). We ask for a small donation to cover the cost of room hire. From time to time we run an introductory course on Humanism. We hold a number of social events during the year, and often participate in the events of other nearby Humanist groups.
