Welcome and enjoy the free dictionaries that are freeware.

Feel free to email me.  It is the name you see above, just add a @gmail.com to the end of it.

Download the English to Chinese Mobipocket Dictionary: MobiChin.zip

Download the Chinese to English Mobipocket Dictionary: Chi2Eng.zip

Download the Excel Version of CEDICT: cedict_Excel.zip

INSTRUCTIONS (once you have d/l the files)

1.  Install the free mobipocket reader. (This is so you can open the dictionaries).
2.  Put mingliu.ttf in the \Windows\Fonts on your Windows Mobile Device (This is so you can view Chinese Characters).
3.  Copy over Eng2Chi.prc or Chi2Eng.prc or both.
4.  Open Eng2Chi.prc on your mobile device. (I use file explorer).
5.  Click on Menu->Options->Fonts->MingLiU (Otherwise you will only see garbage).

That's it!

Notes:

You'll need Office 2007 for Excel to work, 2003 only suports up to 65,000 entries, and there are more than that.

The dictionary displays Traditional characters first, then simplified.  The simplified will not all show up since MingLiU.ttf is a Traditional Chinese Font.
If the font does not have the character it is replaced by a space.

I got sick of not having a freem Windows Mobile 6 Based Chinese Dictionary so I made one.  Hope you enjoy it!
