Hole #1 - Par 5
Blue Tees - 522 yards; White Tees - 484 yards; Red Tees - 414 yards

Nothing like a blind shot to get you started.

Players often find themselves with a blind first or second shot right out of the gate.  With a hill about halfway down the fairway, your drive will be to a blind landing area (if you carry it far enough) or your second shot will be (if you come up a bit short or find yourself behind any of several trees).  There is also out-of-bounds on the right if you stray to far that direction.  Once you crest the hill, the tree-lined fairway puts a premium on accuracy.  A front-left bunker guards a green that slopes steeply back-to-front.  Any approach long or right leaves a tricky downhill pitch.  There isn't a hole location that doesn't produce a sharply-breaking put from most positions.  A good hole to get all facets of your game up to speed.

Hole #2 - Par 3
Blue Tees - 195 yards; White Tees - 165 yards; Red Tees - 150 yards

A hill of a Par 3.

After getting your longer clubs warmed up on the first hole, you move to the shorter stuff.  Or at least that's what you think when you see "Par 3" on the card.  However, stretching back to some 200 yards makes the first of the two Par 3s no picnic.  Fortunately, the elevated tee box gives you a great view of all the ground you have to cover.  Needing a long iron or fairway metal to reach makes getting on this green in regulation a challenge and brings the out-of-bounds closely right into play.  Luckly, a relatively inviting area around a genly-sloping green increasing the chances of getting up-and-down for par - as long as you don't find trouble near one of the trees ringing the green.

Hole #3 - Par 5
Blue Tees - 519 yards; White Tees - 441 yards; Red Tees - 432 yards

Starts out easy - gets a lot harder.

Not that you would expect the second-longest hole on the course to necessarily be "easy", but it does offer the widest fairway on the course.  Even the out-of-bounds right and the bunker left of the fairway don't take away from being able to swing your driver for all you're worth.  However, as you get closer to the green, the story changes.  Once you get within about 150 yards, the fairway narrows significantly and drops off noticably on either side.  The area around the green also drops off steeply on three sides placing a premium on accuracy.  The green is also divided in half - front and back - by a large ridge that makes putting from one area to the other very difficult.  Other than that, expect an easy par.
