My beautiful, amazing Mom passed over to the Ancestors on 12-7-08 after a three year struggle with ovarian cancer.  She left in this world two children- Ted and Ellen, two grandchildren- Eleanor and Henry, my Dad- Richard, a son and daughter "in law"  Juma and Gretchen, many friends and breathtaking paintings.  She was a teacher at The Friends School of Minnesota, a life long feminist, an avid reader and a passionate artist.  Kathy was a complex woman and had her own struggles in life as we all do.  She was my Mom, my deepest friend and truly the most generous, warm, open minded and  loving person I have ever known and she was absolutely hilarious.  She loved children, cats, the moon, the ocean, celebration, laughter, good talk, good food and always dancing!  She is deeply loved, deeply missed and always with us.  Thanks for visiting and please check back as this is a work in progress.
