Welcome Educators!

If you are an educator from the Grand River Watershed and Great Lakes areas, you will find resources on this page that can help increase your knowledge about Great Lakes stewardship and place-based pedagogy, in order to enable you to use new approaches to enhance teaching and learning in science, language arts, social studies, math, and other subjects. Even if you are not from the Great Lakes areas, you may still find some resources here that you can adapt to your local place and use them in your classroom. Also, don't forget to visit the individual school pages. You will find teachers sharing lessons and tips there, so don't let it pass!  Here is the website to the Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative of which we are a hub for the Mid Michigan area. www.glstewardship.org  Here you will see the work being done around the state.
