Guided Caving Trips
These are intended for those with a certain amount of previous caving experience who have a particular objective in mind, or those who would benefit from suggestions of a suitably challenging caving trip.

Guided Scrambling
I have many years local knowledge of the mountains of the Lake District and can make suggestions as to interesting and exciting days out which may be a little more rocky and adventuous than you had previously considered. Some of these would involve the use of a rope for protection on the exposed sections. I can also work in Wales or Scotland. Technical scrambling is weather dependant.
Suggestions in the Lake District include -
- Jacks Rake on Pavey Ark in Langdale
- Sharp Edge and Hallsfell Ridge on Blencathra
- Cam Crag Ridge, Langstrath in Borrowdale
- The Helvellyn Ridges - Striding Edge and Swirral Edge
- Pinnacle Ridge on St Sunday Crag in Patterdale
- Raven Crag, Yewdale near Coniston for a short day out
- Easy Terrace on Dow Crag, Coniston
- Slab and Notch Route to the summit of Pillar Rock

Guided Hillwalking
If the talk of rocky ridges and ropes all sounds a little too daunting a gentler approach may be more suitable on more conventional footpaths, perhaps with some input on navigation skills using map and compass.

Guided Rock Climbing
Rock climbing on some of the Lakeland Classics. Climbs of several pitches up to about 150m in height. Some ropework experience useful! Weather dependant. Suggestions include -
- Corvus in Borrowdale
- Little Chamonix etc. on Shepherds Crag
- Castle Rock South Crag
- Raven Crag in Langdale - Middlefell Buttress, Revelation, Centipede etc.
- Scout Crag in Langdale
- Dow Crag - C Buttress Ordinary Route and Giants Crawl
- Esk Buttress - Bridges Route and Bowers Route
Again if these seem a little too adventurous a selection of short climbs might be more appropriate.
