Because of my ongoing obsession and love for the accuracy and absolute positivity of a handheld Global Positioning Unit while wandering about this world. It is partially a self-given nickname and partialy from family members' teasing me as I went through one GPS generation to another in my quest for the perfect device to tell me exactly where I am at all times.
... And because my beautiful wife thought it would be a great screen name for me. :)
