After being content with my Garmin Vista gps handheld navigation system, I made the switch and decided to move up to the big leagues. Now, I am acquainted with gps handheld navigation systems, so don't think I am new to this. With updated software released, and the import my old data I thought it would be an ideal time to "upgrade" to this model. It has a vivid graphic user interface, is rapidly picks up satellites and able to get around very easily! Response is quick-virtually instantaneous. In the palm the input devices are not easily used and its easy to end up in another screen-not a major weakness though and I know it will grow on me. This is a wonderful unit that is similar in function tomy old Vista did-except this unit operates much more quickly and smoothly-if I could off! I know the woods will wait, but I won't! I am pleased as punch to have the assistanc of this machine help me traverse the terrain and I am sure I couldn't get along without it, most all of the time. It never ceases to amaze me how complete the interaction between the various devices involved in the network work so smoothly, ie. gps handheld navigation system, satellite, my hand. I cannot understand a better way to organize my travelling and not have to worry about wondering into the bad part of town or having to worry about taking the wrong back country road! It just seems to keep me relaxed and I seem to enjoy my ali baba lifestyle even more than I did before I got it. I know that seems like a brief answer that borders on conservative but maybe it is that simple. I also wanted to mention that it has even helped me when I used it to find some spoil on the geocaching realm, which my sons and I are very plagued with, which is always easier using a gps handheld navigation system. It seems to answer every question I have and not leave me flat at the end of the trip. If I ever was to be caught without it, I am sure that I would notice just how much I use it. It wouldn't be a pretty site! The very day the next copy is released I will probably run and purchase it without hesitation and version on Ebay or Craigslist. Would not to try to to live without my gps handheld navigation system! Very handy, very extraordinary and very necessary for my survival! |
