Started this painting some 3 weeks ago. Want to hang it over the fireplace in my living hall. I thought a view of some trees and a pond would be scenic. Took some pictures along the highway, trying to capture the colors of spring and the end of winter, hoping to use them.

I did the underpainting with some white, giving a consistency of about 5 mm thickness. Then I started with light colors and work my way to darker colors.
