 Gospel Outreach Association- Testimonies- Santiago Quiche I am Santiago Quiche from San Lucas, Toliman, Guatemala. I have been a Christian all of my life, with two brothers who are Pastors for the Assembly of God church. I have also held the position of elder for our church for many years. When my Pastor asked me if I would like to be part of a new ministry sharing Christian films in our area I jumped at this offer. I contacted the field rep. for Gospel Outreach Association and soon I was set up with everything I needed. It was very hard for me at first without transportation. I would take a small pick-up that is like a taxi to the villages. But when the showing was over there where no pick-ups to go back. So many nights I slept on the churches floor after the showings and left early in the morning for home to change and go to work. I work as a builder 6 days a week and very long days. In 2005 God answered my prayer and need to help me with this ministry. A missionary who lives in El Salvador gave a Toyota van to me. The only cost to me was, I had to go get the van. What a joy it is to have this van and to share the salvation message with others. |
