Everyone is invited to participate in the Gospel Listening Experience (GLE), especially all Christian households. However, the GLE is also open to persons of other religions. The GLE has a as a secondary goal to create a more harmonious atmosphere among all believers. The gospel listening experience is a prayerful reflection on the four gospels and some ecclesiastical writings for Christian believers.
As we begin the third millennium, I propose in order to enliven the faith in and love for Jesus Christ that Christians in every household return to their fourfold gospel tradition to be reevangelized, recatechized, renewed, and reunited in and by the Gospels according to Mark, Matthew, Luke/Acts, and John within the Jesus tradition. In this gospel listening experience, I want to invite the whole Christian community to recommit itself to Jesus' way, Jesus' truth, and Jesus' life (Jn 14:6). I want them to come and to see Jesus in a common gospel experience.
