What is a matrix?
Most network marketing compensation (commission) plans work on a structure what’s known as a matrix. Our $5 program is called Mega Wealth and it has a 3x2 Forced Matrix structure. Here’s how a 3x2 matrix looks.
3x2 means you can’t have more than 3 on your 1st level (frontline) and the matrix goes no more than 2 levels beneath you. Here you can see you have 3 on your 1st level and 9 on your 2nd level for a total of 12 in your ‘ downline ‘. Your 3 person frontline each have 3 on their 1st level. With the Mega Wealth program and others, once you fill your 3x2 matrix you earn a commission and start a new matrix to fill again. When those in your downline complete their matrix, they follow you into your new matrix. This cycle repeats itself over and over.
So what happens if you bring in more than 3? Because this is a ‘ forced matrix ‘, the extras get placed in the next open spot below. This is known as ‘ spillover ‘ and this is how you can help your teammates fill their matrix. Some programs will have a personal referral bonus to reward you for bringing in many. Even though the extras got spilled over to someone else’s frontline, you still receive the bonus money.
Feeders
These are programs that feed or lead into other programs. In the case of Mega Wealth, once you pay your $5 and cycle the 3x2 matrix by introducing others, you automatically earn a commission and get a paid entry into the next program. After you cycle that program you get a paid entry into the next program. Mega Wealth leads you into 4 other income opportunity programs where commissions become very large. All this is done automatically and you are never out of pocket more than your original $5 to join these 4 other programs. All those you bring into Mega Wealth automatically follow you into the other 4 programs. This is known as ‘ follow your sponsor. ‘ You will find complete info on the Programs page.
Another type of feeder is one that may be created specifically to generate funds to join more expensive programs that might cost $100 or more. Generally this feeder will be a 2x2 matrix which means 2 on the 1st level and 4 on the 2nd level for 6 total in your downline. eg) let's say you want to join a program that cost $199 but you are short on funds. You could join a 2x2 feeder with your teammates for $59 and receive $200 after you cycle. You could then use this $200 to join the more expensive program. Here’s what a 2x2 matrix looks like.
Pay Processors
When paying to join a program or when receiving a commission, generally 3rd party pay processors are used. A pay processor is like your online bank account. Instead of sending funds directly to the company, you simply add funds to your pay processor account and then pay the program fee from your account. When you are due a commission, it gets sent to your account instead of directly to you from the program administrator. The pay processor company then sends you a commission check to your residence. Most processors also allow you to make direct deposits to your regular personal bank account. Examples of the most popular pay processors are PayPal, SafePay Solutions, Solid Trust Pay, AlertPay, DGNS, Google Checkout, E-gold and Ebullion. Standard method of adding funds to you online account is by credit card. Once you have some commissions built up in your account you can pay to join other programs that may interest you, from your commissions.
Is it safe to use your credit card online?
It is no more unsafe to use your credit card online than it is to use it anywhere else. The fear is that when you enter your credit card details into a field on a website, you don't know where those details are going to end up. When out for dinner, how hard would it be for a member of the waiting staff to make a quick copy of your card number and expiry date and go on a shopping spree. Using your credit card online is much more safer than handing it to a stranger. You just have to follow these simple precautions.
You should never enter your credit card details over an unsecured site. A secure site will use encryption to protect your data as it travels between your computer and theirs. Anyone intercepting that data between the two sites will not be able to make sense of it and it will be of no use to them. You'll know you're on such a secure page by the fact that the http:// in the page address changes to https://, and/or a little closed lock icon appears in the lower portion of your web browser.
It should also be noted that you are not liable for credit card fraud. You can verify this with your bank. I’ve used my credit card online many times and have never had a problem.
Is this Legal? This is the question many novice marketers will ask at first. Yes it's legal. There are literally hundreds of similar but more expensive programs on the internet with new ones popping up every week. The ones that have a viable product to purchase are legal. Sometimes the product is physical that gets delivered to your home or it can be a valuable downloadable product that gets delivered to your computer. Some will ask if this is a pyramid scheme? All matrices are shaped like a pyramid as the nature of network marketing is finding people to join under you. It has no choice but to take the shape of a pyramid or triangle.
