Quilts are specially handcrafted in Stowe or Waitsfield, Vermont with unique design and traditionally pieced by Cuc. All fabrics are 100% cotton with high thread counts. These fabrics can be found or purchased at quilt shops. Fabric is pre-washed and pressed to prevent shrinkage. Most fabrics are USA made to support our economy. Batting used is Warm & Natural Co. or Fairfield co. No chemical, glue or resin is used in the needle punching process. Hence it is soft and gentle to use for babies. Binding is done with French fold technique which is durable and is stitched with mitered corner. The back of quilt-binding is hand-sewn using blind stitch method. Quilting is stitched on a regular home sewing machine. Thread used is 100% cotton by Coats & Clark. Topstitch thread in quilting is sometimes embroidery thread to show the lovely quilting design.
