Hebrews 5:13

For everyone that useth milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

1 Corinthians 3:2

I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

Milkman Moby is giving milk to the poor. They need it for strong bones. He is also teaching them the word of God. Every man must have a strong mind. For every one that useth milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: For he is a babe (Heb. 5:13). Those that are babes and are unskillful in the word of righteousness, must be fed with milk. Milkman Moby is giving milk to drink. However in the word of God, he is giving the gospel milk. There is milk for the soul and body.

Greater Works Than These

(ST. John 14:12) Jesus said, "Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. This means that Christ not only worked miracles himself, but gave power to others to do so too. Did Christ heal the sick, cleanse the leper, raise the dead? His disciple Peter did (Acts 10:36-43) and so should we. We should work great miracles. No miracle is little, but some seem greater than others.

The success that we should have in our prayers is Jesus said, (ST. John 14:14) "If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it." If Jesus said "that he can do greater works than these because I go unto my Father", he means just that. He's with his father now. So we ought to do greater works.

(Mark 16: 15) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils: they shall speak with new tongues; (verse18) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (verse 19) So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

God is still working miracles today, and people still receive spiritual gifts. Paul spoke of spiritual gifts. But people don't believe in the impossible so they don't get very far. With God all things are possible. Some people can confess this with the mouth but some really don't believe. If Moses thought like man today, he would have failed in using God's power to open the red sea. I believe in the living God. Some people don't believe that he is alive. I believe in his miracles and his power.

He showed me a miracle through the death of my mother. Her heart stopped and she stopped breathing. But God brought her back to life as I laid my hands upon her to pray. It was just a little while, but it was a miracle of God. Right there, the dead was brought back for me to see that it can be done. I believe in God and his miracles.

(John 10:34) Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? This is found also in (Ps.82:6). I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

Dead Sea Scrolls or the Living Word of God

 It is okay to study on ancient things. It’s okay to learn how people lived in the Bible lands. But it is not okay when we get confused reading God’s word because of  manuscripts that come from the Dead Sea. The Dead Sea Scrolls can’t be all that important. Why are the scrolls hidden in caves? We shouldn’t have to work and dig for manuscripts. Many people in the past that left these dead scrolls behind probably kept a record of things about their daily life, things that they heard, things that they saw, and even wrote their own beliefs. That’s what we do today. Look at all of the different versions of the Bible. But there is only one true version. The King James Bible is the old and best version.

A lie will cover up and look like truth. But the naked truth will come and is plainly seen. So what are we looking for? Why do we keep rambling on? Why do we look for more than what God has given us? We do not need Dead Sea Scrolls to prove the Bible true. Holy men wrote it as they were moved by the Spirit of God. The word of God is living. The word of God is active. Everything the Holy Bible said has come to pass or is coming to pass. God’s word will prove itself whether we believe the Bible or not. His word is alive and is not dead. God’s word is not hidden in caves. God’s word is already given to us. Whatever he has given us, that’s all we need to know. His word is in the Holy Bible. If we don’t read it , study it,  live it, and believe it, it is our fault when we are lost. So do we need Dead Sea Scrolls or the Living Word of God?
