Tommie Girl knew her race, but she knew a God over her race. When Tommie Girl looked at a person, she saw no race. She served a God and did not know his race. According to the Bible, no man has seen God (ST. JOHN 1:14). God said, "Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live (Exodus 33:20). So Tommie never worried about race. It never mattered to her. She knew that living righteously for her God was important.Tommie's race accused her of being prejudice towards her own race. When she succeeded in life, she gave God the glory. If she saw her race succeeding, she gave the praise to almighty God. Tommie was hated it seemed of everyone because she did not praise man, and she saw no race. She ignored the worldly ways and beliefs of man. Tommie studied her Bible, and tried to walk in the ways of her God, and he is the one who made every race.Tommie: 6 x 6 = ________Six letters in her name.Name found six times in article.

Tommie Girl sometimes got caught up in the woes of life. She would often look at herself in the mirror and tell herself to stop and take time out for Jesus.
We are always trying to solve every problem ourselves instead of taking it to the Lord in prayer. What is the Lord sitting up there above the clouds for? We rush around and worry about the things we got to take care of. We rush out into the day without stopping to pray. We act as if God is not there. Maybe that's why sometimes our prayers are not answered. James 4:2 "Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not."
Tommie Girl has tried everything. Her father has passed away, and he was all that she had. Tommie was constantly trying to start her own business, but things never worked out. She got really depressed in life seeking something to do. Tommie was eager to do something with her life to stay busy. She had good intentions and met an evil man named Cigar. He helped her start a little business in fashion designing, but she was only making most of the money for him. Cigar was bad business, and he was about doing things underhandedly and crooked. Tommie Girl saw herself getting deeper into trouble. So, she decided that she needed Jesus.
Appearance
People often judged Tommie by her looks and her clothes, but they could not see inside of her soul. As she looked in the
mirror at herself, her mind was on Jesus and how to be a better person.
