About the Department

             The department of ECE was started in the year 1997 with an intake of 60 students. The intake was increased to 120 students from 2002. A Separate block is provided to develop the department as a center of excellence. The department has established 10 laboratories namely Analog Communication laboratory, Pulse & Digital Circuits laboratory, Integrated Circuits & Applications laboratory, Electronic Circuit Analysis laboratory, Microprocessor & Micro controller laboratory, Electronic Computer Aided design laboratory, Digital communications laboratory, Digital signal processing laboratory and Microwave & Optical communications laboratory,Electronic Devices and Circuits which are fully equipped with test & measuring equipment and trainers specially designed for lab work. With strength of 60 students for each class, a total of 6 classrooms are provided in the department.  In addition to them each floor has a common hall.

             The department has dedicated and experienced faculty of 28 teaching staff & 7 non-teaching staff. Well-furnished staff rooms are provided in sufficient number, to accommodate the staff.           

The Alumnae of all the past nine years are well-placed in reputed organizations like Infosys, GE, Wipro, ADP-Wilco, Polaris, Redpine, Accenture, Convergys, TCS, Dell, Virtusa, LVL7, Syntel, CTS, Google, MAQ Software, Value Labs, Apps Associate, Robert Bosch, HP,  Powerwave, HSBC, Infotech, Kony solutions, Persistent, Birlasoft, JP Margon, Cap Gemini etc. Some of them are pursuing M.Tech, MBA and MS courses in India & abroad.
