This is my resume. Currently, I have not graduated from our Institute.

It is not difficult to find a guy mastering certain technology, however, finding one, who does master and love technologies, is not as easy as that. The guy faced you is just the right one. :)

  • 2002.09 - 2007.07 Ph.D student in Telecommunication, Service and Terminal Lab, Wireless Technology Innovation (WTI) Institute, Beijing University of Posts and Telecomm. (BUPT)
  • 1998.09 - 2002.07 B.S. in Electronic Engineering, Beijing Polytechnic University (Currently named as Beijing University of Technology) 

Research Work:

Being good at find relations between different areas and solve problems with mature methods. Also being good at simulation and implementation, and the weakness is in mathematics.

  • 2005-2006, research on distributed terminal system in WTI/JSI (Mobile Tech Lab, Sino-German Joint Software Institute, MII). cooperating with Fraunhofer FOKUS institute.
  • 2004.10 - 2005.01. Having visited Brunel University, West London on behalf of our institute. Research on mobility management of IP networks.
  • 2004. Team leader in National 863 Project "Universal Service Terminal Technology in Next Generation Information Networks". 
  • 2002-2003, National 863 Project "Research on Mobile Agent based Personal Mobility"

Software Develop 

Being good background computing, but not good at graphical interfaces. Being able to develop with multi language, and good at C/C++. Enthusiasm in new technologies,

  • 2004 - 2005. A little WLAN signal strength reader: Writing in C/C++ and based on the source of wireless-tools in Linux (Linux edition) and NDIS driver (Windows version).
  • 2003 - 2004. Developing a couples of simple server with Java:  based on mobile agent platform in a National 863 program;
  • 2003. Starpoint PHS Network Analyzer 2.0: Developing with Visual C++, responsible for the part related with logging and data statistic. The product had been sold to several operators for the optimization of their PHS network.
  • 2002. Voice analyze tool based on wavelet. Developing with Visual C++. (My B.S. Degree thesis)
  • Deployed and maintaining Linux servers for the institute, including LDAP server, Web server/Wiki, mail server, mailing list, Gateway, and LDAP maintaining CGI writed in perl, autoproxy service written in Perl/Shell scrips, and so on.Having
  • Written a little add-on for Firefox recently.

Lecturer and related experiences 

 Interesting in many new technologies and liking to investicate the mystery of them. Also liking to share the knowledge with others.

  • 2005.08 - present. Lecturer in training on WCDMA Core Network and Service for Operators and Vendors for 6 times.
  • 2005.10 - present. Lecturer in training on WCDMA air interface for the MII 3G certification for 3 times.
  • 2005 - 2006. Having organized the Academic Salon in our institute, and the interaction with academic lecture in other labs in BUPT. (Ref. the IPv6 board of BUPT BBS: bupt.org) 
  • 2005 - 2006. Having given the lecture to our lab on LaTeX and Linux.

I like Linux much, and do much on it: 

  • 2003.08 - Present. Having been writing a book on Debian GNU/Linux with LaTeX, covering the installation, management, deployment of it. It is over 400 pages now, and the first edition will be finished in 1 or 2 months.
  • 2004. The volunteer Editor of LinuxFocus Magazine, which was the famos multi language free magazine, and distributed with LDP, translated and writing technology articles for it.
  • 2004, Translated the GNU FDL 1.2, and the translation was adopted by wikipedia.
  • Being active in discussion and party of BUPT BBS: bupt.org.
