It has helped uncover new medicine, new ways to control diseases (HIV or Aids: which was something that killed thousands since it came to light in the 1980s) and cure to some diseases that back in the days were impossible to control, even worst to cure it. | Television has also made it's mark as a new and advance technological tool. It has shed light on matters that are sometimes unseen by the public such as diseases (campaigns for Aids, HIV cancer, among many more), wars (a new way to see the combats and life of the soldiers, like in Iraq), genocides, etc. |
