CHERRY VALLEY FARM
SADDLE HORSES, MEAT GOATS, RARE and HERITAGE POULTRY, NATURAL OMEGA EGGS, and REPRODUCTION VICTORIAN CLOTHING MADE.
WE ARE LOCATED IN BEAUTIFUL MIDDLE TENNESSEE.
Here at Cherry Valley Farm, we strive to keep our operation running as naturally as possible. When it comes to raising and feeding our animals, we keep natural at the forefront. When training our horses and goats we use resistance free training methods. We imprint our animals at birth. We believe that happy animals make better companions and natural feed makes better food.
I am a proud member of the Society for the Preservation of Poultry Antiquities and along with my laying hens raise rare and endangered breeds of poultry. I will have poultry and hatching eggs for sale this spring. My laying hens are fed a special diet to raise the Omega fatty acids in the eggs. They will also be for sale this spring. Please contact me for availability. I raise Egyptian Fayoumi, Salmon Faverolle Chickens and Welsh Harlequin Ducks.

Our Saddle Horses come out of old Tennessee Walking Horse bloodlines. They are all gaited. Our Appaloosa mare comes out of Colida bloodlines. Our Walkaloosa's come out of a combination of both bloodlines. We have horses for sale now.
I create and sew reproduction Victorian clothing that are period correct.

Go see Christine Heinrichs over at the Poultry Book Store. She has written one of the best books about chickens. It is written for beginners, but those of us who have been raising chickens for awhile will find it very usful. It touches on everything from raising, breeding, housing, and showing chickens. Don't forget to check out her blog. BREAKING NEWS... I have it on good authority that Christine is writting a new book on Poultry. I know it will be good.
Another good place to go is Backyard Chickens. Lots of information on everything chicken! They have a great forum with friendly people.
