Fixing Health Care Now

Insufficient, untimely or unaffordable health care is a worldwide problem. No one seems to be effectively tackling this issue, either nationally or globally. Yet the benefits of resolving this problem would do much good: create new jobs; save lives; control pain; promote peace in a practical way; and improve the quality of life of many.  If you share our opinion, we invite you to help us achieve our goal to fix health care now. Can this problem be resolved?  A small but growing group of us have faith that it can be resolved cost-effectively. The central core of our lifecare solutions are practical,  patient-oriented , evidence-based, and can be applied globally.  If you have a problem with your health or your health care system and would like to discuss it with a group, then join our continuing global online conferences on health care reform.  All are welcome to join our discussions, even groups such as the United Nations (UN), the World Health Organization (WHO) and Interfaith Organizations.  Sylvain Henry

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." -Margaret Mead

We have created a grassroots social movement to start working on global health care reform, idea by idea. Our accomplishments are small, but rapidly increasing.

1. We host Global Online Conferences and Live Conferences on global healthcare reform via online and email chats.
2. With our  Healthboard we communicate with patients about their experiences in the healthcare system and their needs via individual and group chats
3. With our  IdeaBox we are creating The BluePrint for Global Healthcare Reform via Global Collaborative Research by collecting global wisdom on healthcare
4. We have a 24 hour/day online chat for visitors to our site who want to discuss healthcare issues.  We also have a private chat for members.
5. We have a Newsletter  for those who wish to stay current with the progress of our initiative. Mailing List
6. We are creating a global database of like-minded professionals, including a number of international medical graduates. 1300 global friends (Oct 14, 2008)
7. We are raising awareness the importance of this crucial issue by: inviting our relatives & friends to join the cause, sharing knowledge & experiences, contributing ideas, suggestions and creativities, distributing questionnaires, participating/volunteering to research for database/evidence

We are seeking volunteers to help us with the following:
BEST PRACTICES: Please inform us about healthcare systems from the past (or existing ones) to be applied/integrated and their lessons learned
TECHNOLOGY: Please suggest technologies that will allow us to solve problems more effectively and to grow our social movement
IDEAS: Please suggest ideas as to how we can improve existing healthcare systems
CONTACTS: Please tell others about us so we can grow our social network and social capital
RESEARCH ASSISTANCE: If you have an hour a week to do some volunteer research online
PILOT PROJECT: We are seeking a hospital for a pilot project to verify the value of our suggestions for health care reform.
INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL GRADUATES: We need to conference with you as soon as possible.
