NEW!! The fifth grade promotion is on Wednesday, June 10 at 10:00 am in the auditorium. Fifth graders should report to their homeroom at 7:45 am to take photos. After the promotion ceremony, head over to Lake Temescal for a picnic. The entrance fees are $2 per student and $3 per adult. Below is the dress code for promotion. These are strict dress guidelines, and all students must adhere to them. Students who do not wear the designated attire will not be able to participate in the promotion.
********************************************************************************************************* Have you heard your child talking about "I Can" sheets? Have you seen one with your child's reading/language arts or social studies homework this past week? An "I Can" sheet is how your child and teacher will work together to evaluate your child's progress. On this form, the formal state standard will be explained in the far left column. The student-friendly explanation the standard is written in an I can format. This column will explain not only the standard, but how the student and I will assess progress. The "I Can" will also help parents monitor student progress. You can view the form by clicking on one of the "I Can" attachments below or on the graphic organizers page.
