Teaching the Art of Tennis since 1992 Professional Tennis Institute Wishing to spread his passion for tennis, Arthur Cuenco founded the Professional Tennis Institute (PTI) in 1992. Soon after Arthur became head tennis pro of the Glens Tennis Club, teaching the “Art of tennis” through his proven and unique training program, positive attitude, and vast experience as a national-level player and instructor. Thousands of players of all ages have successfully completed after-school programs, summer camps, specialized private/semi-private lessons, and intensive cardio tennis fitness training.
Today, PTI has grown into a network of high-caliber tennis instructors teaching at local tennis clubs throughout the National Capital Region (NCR). PTI maintains solid instruction through progressive tennis plans & qualified staff who not only teach the fundamentals & strategy of tennis, but also integrate the importance of fun & sportsmanship to the game.

Arthur Cuenco Arthur is a certified Tennis Canada and USPTR tennis professional with over 18 years of coaching experience for players of all levels, focusing on tennis clubs in the NCR and several communities in Quebec. He is also a competitive player, actively participating in local tournaments, played and coached collegiate tennis at the University of Ottawa and as a junior played in national-level tournaments.
Arthur’s qualifications include being a Tennis Canada Coach I, Club Pro 2, Wheelchair Certification, USPTR Tennis Professional, & B.Sc. PT (Physiotherapy). Arthur can also provide instruction in French and Spanish.
Aside from his tennis experience, Arthur is the senior physiotherapist at his Merivale Professional Physiotherapy clinic, specializing in sports-related injuries treating most of the local tennis community.
