I hate the idea of this. To me gifts are a fantastic thing to recieve (and pretty cool to give) and half the fun is recieving somethng and thinking "woah, cool, I'd never thought to get one of those" and they often show the thought people put into the process.
However, just before birthdays and Christmas every year, people start to ask "so, what do you want" and even though I'd probably be uncomfortable giving an answer, even if I could, I've always forgotten all the cool things I've seen and though "oooh ! I might get myself one of those".
So, I've decided to use this page as a way of reminding myself of all the cool stuff I might get around to buying and it could also act as a starting point for those people who feel they want to but me a gift (hint: You don't need to at all) but have no idea were to start.
