As there's just oneThis, our only star We call it "Sun" Others are too far. This, our only star Great and new each day Others are too far To guide us on our way. Great and new each day Cannot wish for more To guide us on our way Warming to the core. Cannot wish for more To keep us from fading Warming to the core Creates even shading. To keep us from fading Solid ball of fire Creates even shading Sunshine is what we desire! Solid ball of fire Bringing us the light: Sunshine is what we desire! Covering the night! Bringing us the light: Keep the heater on Covering the night! Beginning with dawn. Keep the heater on Burn the bright air! Beginning with dawn Day will turn out fair. Burn the bright air! Let's play our game! Day will turn out fair We're glad it came. Let's play our game! We call it "Sun" We're glad it came As there's just one.
