As a boy, I was once told that a farmer had invented a method of how to use the sour milk as a tractor fuel. I became enthusiastic over the invention because I had acquired a mindset of an inventor and I am an inventor. But alas! It was an April Fools Day! The farmers do wonderful things in their garages and barns, but even they cannot get the sour milk or any other equally watery substance to burn. We Finns drink much sour milk that digests or "burns" in our body, but it is a different story.

However it was already known in ancient times, that a small amount of water sprayed on a big fire does not restrain it but to the contrary, it accelerates the fire. This is because in that case the water works as a catalyst in the burning, which then happens more effectively, creating more heat. When the amount of water is increased gradually, the fire will first stop accelerating and then begin to calm down. Now, the point is in the acceleration of the burning, the base idea of the water-fuel.

About 30 years ago, I decided to do an experiment. I remembered that the engine of my previous old car had gotten a water leak to one of the cylinders. Later, when I took off the cylinder head, I noticed that the combustion chamber of the cylinder was perfectly clean. Then, I got an idea. I owned an old Volkswagen Kleinbus (a German made small bus) that had an air-cooled gasoline engine. I mixed water with spirit fifty-fifty and poured one litre (less than ¼ of a gallon) of the mixture into the gas tank of about 50 litres (11 gal.) before I filled the tank. The gasoline, water and spirit mixed with each other and created a consistent solution. It was a winter in Finnish Lapland, where I live, and a hard frost, but the engine worked smoothly and more silently, although it used to rattle terribly normally as the ancient Volkswagens did. Later, when I checked the spark-plugs I noticed that they were very clean. I concluded that the burning of the gas must have happened more effectively than normally. However, when I also checked the gas tank as far as I could, I noticed that it had begun to corrupt inside. The tank was not made of any stainless steel, and I had to stop my study before I had time to find out the possible decreasing fuel consumption. Then I bought a diesel auto, and later the injection pumps became the standard with both diesel and gasoline motors, and they don’t tolerate water mixed in with the fuel, not even if it is blended with spirit.

I have to admit that, being an inventor myself, I am a little envious because some other guys have developed a better method to produce water-fuel in such a way that it burns more effectively, without causing any problems. It is the task that I left undone. Not only that, but the water is put under an electric voltage that partly decomposes water, or to be more scientific, an electrolysis occurs that creates hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) gases as well as converted water whose chemical formula is HHO instead of the normal H2O. The HHO means that in one water molecule, the two hydrogen (HH) atoms and one oxygen (O) atom compose a string where one hydrogen atom on the smaller head of the string is about to loosen, while the normal, strong form (H2O) is as a baby bear’s head (O) with its ears (HH). When the H atom gets loose, it is very aggressive and reacts hotly with the fuel in the cylinders. The hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) gases, generated in the electrolysis, are not left far behind but react intensively with the fuel and each other. Even the water vapour that comes out of the Water-Fuel Conversion device accelerates the burning. So, the burning reaction is all-around and thorough.
