My Patents Pertaining to the Electro-Magnetism

I have managed to get two patents in the US that I am ready to sell or license to potential buyers once a mutual agreement regarding price and terms has been established with the purchasers. My email address is kauko.loukas@pp.inet.fi or writerkauko@gmail.com. The identification and abstracts of the patents are below.

Most people do not understand the mind of a born inventor. True, every human being, especially a child, has a natural ability to invent something or create a solution to a problem when needed to. But the routines of life slowly kill the creativity of most people. However, there are individuals who knowingly resist the levelling process of society and try to keep their creativity alive. Many times, that tendency leads them to withdraw from the company of other people to their privacy where they have their own peace to develop their ideas. Therefore they don't aggressively demand their rights and are looked at as underdogs. Those people are called inventors.

"Gyro Gearloose", in the comic-book "Donald Duck", represents the impression that the other people have of an inventor to a greater extent than the real picture of an inventor. Even the name describes someone whose mind is spinning loosely without any discernment. Maybe that is true concerning a few inventors, but we should always remember that the whole modern society is based on countless inventions, and there is no end of them. Could they have been made without any discernment? Certainly not! Doing inventions is not a vain business, and if an inventor gets a lucky hit, it has to be remembered that they have suffered many failures before that.

My mind generates inventions now and then also, but it is hard to get patents for them. This is known by all inventors who have applied for patents for their inventions. Also, it is very expensive to hire a lawyer to prepare the patent application documents and argue with the patent examiners, and many swindlers are around, ready to take advantage of awkward inventors. The "Operation Mousetrap" that the US Patent Authorities accomplished, revealed outrageous cases.

I could not afford to hire a lawyer. Therefore I have prepared the documents myself and lost some inventions with their patent fees. I could not defend them against the foxy patent examiners who know the paragraphs. I was only allowed the ones seen here. It seems to be even harder and more expensive to market your inventions. It is a costly business. Therefore, I am trying to advertise them by myself both here and elsewhere.

By the way, my latter patent "Contacting and Magnetizing Double Spiral Capacitor Inductor" expired in the summer of 2010 because I had scarce money and did not pay the maintenance fee. So, it is free now. I don't care. The money seems to search for money, not for me.

Magnetic light switch with hermetic glass box

Abstract
The construction of the invention is composed of a hermetically sealed cylindric glass box filled with inert gas, a broad U-shaped permanent magnet on it; two pairs of galvanized, impermanently magnetizable steel pieces inside the glass box, on its brim, with electric wires brought from one pair of pieces, electrodes, to an outside source of electric current; an impermanently magnetizable galvanized steel bar inside the glass box, turned on and off between the steel pieces by the U-magnet; a hand lever turning the U-magnet; and a housing box, in which the magnetic light switch has been installed. The hermetic glass box can be made using the technics of electric bulbs. There is no burning and consuming dirt and dust inside the glass box, and inert gas inside the box prevents sparking from burning metal surfaces and generating ozone and nitrogen oxides, too. The invention is applicable to other purposes, too, e.g. to master and idividual switches of electric systems and devices. Safety can be increased with two bimetallic triggers inside the glass box cutting the electric current, if the device is heating too much.

Conducting and magnetizing double spiral capacitor-inductor

Abstract

The invention, Conducting and Magnetizing Double Spiral Capacitor-inductor, consists of two insulated, conducting and at the same time, at least one of them, magnetizing spiral bands or tapes that are spooled in interleaved fashion into a spiral disk or roll and connected galvanically onto two electrodes that are placed on the opposite ends of the bands, one on each. The bands constitute a capacitor-inductor, and the electric current is always flowing in the same direction in both bands when the capacitor is charged or discharged creating a magnetic field that is perpendicular to the flat sides of the spiral disk or roll and to the electric field that lies perpendicularly between the bands. The otherwise free ends of the bands can be connected together with a fixed or adjustable resistive load to change the values of the device. This kind of combined capacitor-inductor can be used as a component in many electric apparatuses. The invention could be used for example as substitutes for the coils of AC motors, in adjustable capacitor-inductors and capacitor-inductor loudspeakers, as electromagnetic pulse generators, AC electric net buffers, electromagnetic filters and electromagnetic emitters.
