'N' Scale Layout - British Diesel

Track:

All N gauge Peco code 80 track. The layout is DC with section block switches.  All turnouts are Peco electrofrog.

Locomotives:

I'm a big fan of Graham Farish locomotives.  This includes the new made-in-China models as well as the older UK produced models.

Rolling Stock:

My favourite vendor for rolling stock is Graham Farish, followed closely by Dapol and then Peco.  I have never had much luck with the plastic wheels on Peco rolling stock so that is why I rate them low.  Changing the wheels to Graham Farish metal ones fixes a lot of problems (generally all you need to do is file the hub points down a little and they slide right into the Peco chassis).  I haven't had enough Lima stuff to comment on them, although the wagon I do have seems grossly over-sized.
