Gisimba Memorial Center runs an on-site nursery school that serves about 120 children ages 3-6. Children from the orphanage as well as from the surrounding community attend the nursery school from 8:00 am to early afternoon. The student fees help to support the school and orphanage staff. There are four classrooms at the school, each with two teachers and approximately 30 students per class.    |
