GIS Day 2009

Welcome to the Geographic Information Systems Center at Palomar College!

Don't forget GIS Day 2009 is on November 18, 2009.  Come celebrate it with us at Palomar College. Check out our complete schedule of events!

We, here at Palomar College, are glad that you have taken an active interest in our program.  The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) certification program is currently a one year program that aims to give you the technical and theoretical knowledge needed to enter the workforce.  In addition to the existing curriculum and brand new GIS lab at the college, we are excited to announce that even more new equipment and software are being added to the program thanks to  generous support from the state and the college administration.  We believe that the program will be invaluable to those who are interested in expanding their career options, or to those who are simply interested in geography!

New GIS lab where all GIS classes will be held.

The new Natural Science Building is surely a bustling place.
